Community Guidelines

1. Welcome
Packt is a motorcycle community built for riders who love the road. These guidelines exist to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. By using Packt, you agree to follow these guidelines.
2. Respect & Safety
Every rider deserves respect. We are united by our love of motorcycles — treat others as you would want to be treated on the road.
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind
- No hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability
- No sharing of other users' personal information without consent
- Respect other riders' privacy, riding preferences, and skill levels
3. Accurate Content
Accurate information keeps our community safe and useful.
- Do not submit fake locations, misleading POIs, or false route information
- Do not create spam rallies, meetups, or events
- Keep biker stop (POI) submissions accurate — real places with correct locations
- Do not impersonate other riders or organizations
4. Communication
Rally chats, pack chats, DMs, and voice channels are for connecting with fellow riders.
- No spam messages or repetitive content in chats
- No unsolicited advertising or promotion
- Keep conversations relevant and respectful
- No explicit, violent, or illegal content
5. Safety Features
SOS & Emergency Features
SOS alerts are for real emergencies only. Misusing safety features puts riders at risk and will result in immediate action.
- Only use SOS when you genuinely need help
- Do not abuse the SOS system to get attention or as a prank
- Respond to SOS alerts from nearby riders when safe to do so
- SOS does not replace calling emergency services (911/112)
6. Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines will result in escalating action:
- Warning — first-time or minor violations
- Temporary suspension — repeated violations or moderate offenses
- Permanent ban — severe violations, continued disregard for guidelines, or illegal activity
Severe violations (threats, illegal activity, SOS abuse) may result in an immediate permanent ban without prior warning.
7. Reporting
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Use the in-app Report feature on user profiles, chat messages, or POIs
- Reports are reviewed by our team and handled confidentially
- False or malicious reporting is itself a violation of these guidelines
- You can also block users to hide their messages from your chats
